Huge shout out to Eden for being so welcoming despite my late check-in at 11pm! She was super nice and as a first timer in Brisbane recommended me some cool areas to visit given my limited time to spend in the city.
Only issue I had is the double facing mirrors in the bathroom, I mean it definitely doesn’t suit everyone’s taste. I originally booked the hotel for the old rustic vibe and it definitely matched my expectations! Oh and the lift in the middle of the hotel is definitely one worth the experience and stay itself.

Hygiene: I smelled moldy as soon as I entered the door. The toilet was even more smelly and the floor was sticky.
Environment: The overall decoration is retro, the room is relatively large, and the lights in the room are very dim.

The room smells so bad that I can't breathe. The room is very small and doesn't match the pictures. The towels are stained. The bed is small and uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well for two days. The pattern on the headboard is very creepy.

This hotel is beyond expectation, I love it! First of all, the location is good, it is very convenient to go to Queen Street, and if you like walking, it is not far to South Bank Park. Secondly, the style is very old, but the facilities are very complete. Although the reservation does not include breakfast, there are coffee, snacks and fruits available for free at the reception on the first floor all day. Though the hotel is pretty aesthetic, oddly enough i find it slightly creepy due to the lighting. Also because the building has a unique architecture. A bit disappointing when i saw the kettle in my room is kinda rusty. I feel like they should have replaced it
